Body language expert breaks down how jurors likely process Kouri Richins in court

PARK CITY, Utah (KUTV) — As Kouri Richins’ trial enters its third day, legal experts say jurors are likely paying attention to more than just testimony.

From clothing choices to posture and facial expressions, nonverbal cues can influence how a defendant is perceived — even as jurors are instructed to focus solely on the facts presented in court.

Malynda Ruth, a jury consultant and body language expert with Magna Legal Services, said it is human nature for jurors to assess authenticity through observation.
