DOCUTAH Festival returns to St. George

SALT LAKE CITY — Filmmakers from across the country and around the world are in southern Utah as the DOCUTAH International Film Festival returns for its 16th year. The three-day festival, running through February 28 at the Megaplex Theatres at Sunset, features 57 new documentaries and live discussions with the people who created them.

Inside the theater, audiences settle in as filmmakers introduce their work from stories ranging from environmental challenges to deeply personal journeys. Many of the films are premiering in southern Utah, giving viewers an early look at new documentaries from across the globe.
