A 55-year-old Leesburg man suspected of an attempted armed robbery at the Dry Mill Road 7-Eleven store in Leesburg is in custody.
Christopher Ellis was charged with attempted robbery and wearing a mask to conceal his identity following the Leesburg Police Department investigation into a Jan. 22 incident in which a man entered the store just after 12:30 a.m. and made demands while claiming to be armed. He left without obtaining anything.
