One arrested, one in critical condition after Thursday shooting in Buckingham County

A Scottsville man is charged with three felonies in connection with a shooting in Buckingham County Thursday.

Marcos Alejandro Albay was arrested by Buckingham County Sheriff’s deputies, with assistance from Virginia State Police and University of Virginia Police officers, after he and the victim involved in the shooting left the scene and were located and detained, according to a news release from Sheriff William G. Kidd Jr.
