DP Fox Ventures LLC has sold a pair of West Michigan ice arenas to a Florida-based company that owns or operates dozens of similar facilities across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Executives on Feb. 25 announced the sale of the former Griff’s IceHouse West in Holland Township and Griff’s Georgetown Ice Arena in Georgetown Township outside Hudsonville to Sunrise, Fla.-based Black Bear Sports Group. The facilities have since been renamed Holland Ice Arena, located at 4444 Holland Ave., and Hudsonville Ice Arena, at 8500 48th Ave.
Black Bear Sports Group announced both facilities “will undergo significant repairs and improvements” that could total in the millions of dollars, and that programming through the 2025-26 season will continue uninterrupted…
