NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Police took a Grand Strand contractor into custody on a felony charge. Separately, a North Myrtle Beach man said he paid the contractor $18,000 for a room renovation that was never completed.
Horry County police arrested Eric Richards, owner of ER Home LLC, on Thursday.
Officers pulled Richards over for a traffic violation and discovered he had an outstanding warrant out of North Myrtle Beach for obtaining property under false pretenses worth more than $5,000.
