Public comment meetings on TDOT ‘Choice Lanes’ in Rutherford, Davidson counties

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — If you live in northern Rutherford County or southern Davidson County, you have an opportunity to learn more about the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Southeast Choice Lanes project and offer feedback starting next week.

TDOT will be holding three public comment meetings on the proposed “choice lanes” along Interstate 24 in Smyrna and southeast Nashville March 3-5. They’ll be held from 5-7:30 p.m. each night, including a formal presentation and a Q & A.

The first will be on March 3 in Rutherford County, at the Smyrna Event Center. The second and third meetings will take place at the Coleman Park Community Center in southeast Nashville on March 4 and 5. According to TDOT, all three meetings will contain the same information, so those who can’t attend one meeting have the option to attend another…
