The City of Worcester will lift its winter weather emergency and its parking ban today at 5 p.m.
The city, along with the rest of Massachusetts, was hit by a historic blizzard on Monday. Worcester saw 13 inches of snow from the storm.
Those who have parked in city garages during the parking ban have until 12 p.m. Saturday to exit without paying, according to a statement from City Manager Eric D. Batista’s office. Those who are entering garages after 5 p.m. on Friday will have to pay normal parking rates, the statement reads…
