After a run of wild crashes that sent cars straight into townhomes, a wooden wall now rings the small roundabout on North Tyler Street in Oak Cliff’s Bishop Arts area. The makeshift barrier is meant to keep drivers from vaulting over the traffic circle and into homes while city leaders and neighbors push for a long-term redesign.
Temporary barrier bought neighbors time
According to FOX 4, Dallas City Councilmember Chad West described the wooden wall as a stopgap while the city works on a permanent solution.
