WALKER — One year after purchasing the property, the owners of Pickleball Kingdom are excited to open the doors of the new facility to the public and offer an indoor experience with plenty of room for all.
Ransom Pipes, one of four co-owners of the franchise, said Friday’s ribbon cutting and start of the grand opening celebrations is something his team has looked forward to for some time.
“We purchased the property right at a year ago, last February, so it’s kind of been a year in the making. It was probably a solid six months of starting with design and permitting, and then six months of construction,” Pipes explained. “We’re very pleased with how the facility turned out. We did a lot of upgrades, as far as lighting, sound control, insulation, the courts.”…
