For drivers navigating FM 359 and FM 1463 in Fulshear, the daily wait at the traffic light has become a familiar frustration. That changes this weekend.
Weather permitting, the first two-mile segment of the Westpark Tollway Extension will open Saturday, February 28, around noon — months ahead of schedule. The early opening gives westbound drivers the ability to exit just past FM 1463 and allows eastbound drivers to enter just west of FM 1463, easing pressure on one of Fort Bend County’s busiest intersections.
