Man facing gun, drug charges following Albuquerque road rage incident, police say

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man who is a convicted felon is facing multiple charges following a road rage incident on Tuesday, police said.

Albuquerque Police responded to a road rage report where the victim claimed a man threatened him with a handgun and drove away in a white Ford F150. APD’s Real Time Crime Center identified the license plate, which was confirmed with an automated license plate reader in the area of the incident. The vehicle came back registered to Francisco Solis, according to APD.

The department said Solis matched the description provided by the victim and detained him. Solis admitted to being involved in a road rage incident, but told officers he had pointed a pair of pliers at the victim. He was then arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
