ADA COUNTY, Idaho — A new program in the Ada County Jail aims to provide second chances for incarcerated individuals.

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is launching a new program aimed at reducing repeat offenses by focusing on education inside the jail. The initiative, called IGNITE — Inmate Growth Naturally and Intentionally Through Education — is part of a national effort to break the cycle of incarceration.
