Diné College announced Tuesday the passing of Rex Lee Jim, a leader, scholar and member of the Diné College community.
Jim died in Albuquerque, according to the college, while he was in the final stages of his social justice PhD program at Arizona State University.
He was born and raised in Rock Point, Arizona, and was of the KinŁichíi’nii clan and born for the Táchii’nii clan. His maternal grandfather was of the Kinyaa’áanii clan, and his paternal grandfather was of the Naakaii Diné’e people…
