Oregon – Headlights barely cut through thick gray air across Eugene this morning as dense fog grips the southern Willamette Valley. Visibility has dropped to a quarter mile or less in spots, slowing traffic along Interstate 5 and Highway 99.
According to the National Weather Service in Portland, a Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for the Lane County lowlands until noon. Widespread frost formed earlier with temperatures hovering near 34 degrees. Drivers should slow down, increase following distance, and use low-beam headlights.
