PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Sunny and mild skies continue to build across the Pacific Northwest as temperatures warm to above average conditions by the start of March.
Sunny skies will put afternoon temperatures into the mid 50s for the Willamette Valley Friday. The warming trend continues through the weekend even as skies gain a few more clouds. A few of those clouds provide a light sprinkle or two to parts of the Willamette Valley during the morning hours this weekend. Although no rain accumulation is expected.
Snow levels around Mt. Hood will boost to 9,000 feet over the weekend with some snow melt possible. A few mixed showers of rain and snow is possible over the weekend across the Cascades.
Wet weather is expected to return to the region by the middle of next week. March will come in like a lamb with temperatures warming above average. Afternoon highs will near 60 degrees along the Willamette Valley…
