Three of this year’s winners also made the list in 2024 — the last time we featured pizza for these awards. And judging from the comments, it’s a great time to be looking for a gluten-free pizza crust in the Portland area.
No. 5: Pizzeria Otto
One of the repeats from 2024’s top 5, Pizzeria Otto serves up Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas with beautiful char at three locations after opening a Lake Oswego outpost last year. One reader said Otto is “definitely hands down the best pizza in town, in the state of Oregon, the West Coast, need I go on. Excellent pizza, antipasto, and salads.” Another said, “Even the gluten-free crusts are fabulous.”

No. 4: Pizza Kat
Another repeat winner, Pizza Kat’s naturally leavened dough produces a tangy, just-chewy-enough crust that makes you want to try it with every available topping. One reader commented on the voting, “Any comment not supporting Pizza Kat is clearly false and made in bad faith. Pizza Kat is the best pizza around.” Another said, “I can always count on them for the crispiest crust, perfect mozzarella to tomato sauce ratio, and best sprig of fresh basil. They make incredible ice cream too!” And several people shared their love of the gluten-free crust…
