INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) – The bill that would bring a casino to northeast Indiana is headed to Governor Mike Braun’s desk.
Friday, House Bill 1038 passed the House this morning 56-37, and, just over an hour later, passed out of the Senate 34-16. If Braun approves the bill, a casino would be built in either Allen, DeKalb or Steuben counties.
Voters can make their voices heard with a referendum on the November 2026 ballot, according to the revised version of the bill…
