GoBus to expand rural transit across Ohio starting March 2

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio’s intercity bus network will grow next month with the launch of four new GoBus routes aimed at expanding access in rural and underserved communities.

The Ohio Department of Transportation, in partnership with Hocking Athens Perry Community Action, announced the expanded service will begin March 2. Ticket sales open Feb. 11.

The expansion will add 26 new stops and significantly increase the reach of Ohio’s GoBus system. The new routes are designed to improve access across western and northern Ohio and strengthen service between Columbus and Pittsburgh.

New stops include Dayton, Findlay, Lima, Ashtabula, Sandusky, Zanesville, Toledo and Springfield, along with other rural communities…
