Beachside Rehab has expanded its services by opening a new outpatient facility on Hutchinson Island, Florida, to help more people with mental health and addiction recovery. The grand opening event brought together over 50 business and healthcare professionals and featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce. Attendees toured the facility and took part in a lunch gathering dedicated to the new site.
Florida faces a considerable need for behavioral health services. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, about 20 percent of adults in Florida experience a mental health condition each year. This rate is similar to the national average, but Florida is ranked among the bottom states for access to mental health care. Beachside Rehab, which is family-owned and has been a leader in treatment for over a decade, hopes the expansion will help address this gap by making more treatment options available.
The new Hutchinson Island center offers a variety of evidence-based outpatient programs designed to complement the established inpatient services located in West Palm Beach. Clients can access partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care, all provided in a private and comfortable setting.
