PERINTON, N.Y. (WROC) — A person was found dead after a house fire Friday night in the town of Perinton.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said the fire broke out around 9:30 p.m. at a home on Whitney Road. Multiple fire agencies responded to the scene to battle the blaze.
It took several hours to put out the fire and afterwards, a body was discovered inside, believed to be the only resident of the home, according to the MCSO.
