Friday’s winter heat wave has pushed temperatures to record-breaking highs in Southern California, according to the National Weather Service.

- Downtown L.A. 91 (previous record 88)
- Burbank 94 (previous record 86)
- Ojai 90 (previous record 88)
- Long Beach 92 (previous record 88)
- Santa Maria Airport 87 (previous record 86)
- Woodland Hills 97 (previous record 92)
Downtown Los Angeles broke its previous record of 88 degrees in 2025, and Burbank well surpassed its previous record of 86 in 1986. Long Beach also beat its previous record of 88 in 2025 when it hit 92 degrees Friday.
Pasadena is well on its way towards beating the record of 86 in 2002, as well as Woodland Hills with a previous record of 92 in 1976.
