San Jose burglary spree suspect arrested

(KRON) — Police said a man went on a two-year-long burglary spree targeting businesses in downtown San Jose and on the east side of the city.

Detectives identified the burglary suspect as Cesar Gomez-Saucedo, 36, of San Jose, the San Jose Police Department announced Friday.

Police said detectives connected Gomez-Saucedo to 24 separate incidents between August of 2024 and February of 2026. Five of the burglarized businesses were on McKee Road, Alum Rock Avenue, and East Julian Street.
