5 displaced, dog dies in Canton house fire

CANTON, Ohio (WJW) — Five people escaped a house fire Friday in Canton, and while crews were able to rescue two animals from the home, a dog was found dead inside.

According to a Saturday news release from the Canton Fire Department, crews responded to the two-story home at 620 11th St NW just before 6 p.m. Friday.
