Chicago Driver Fires Eight Shots at Pedestrian for Shouting ‘Slow Down’

Road rage can escalate pretty quickly. One driver in Chicago took it rather personally when a pedestrian shouted at him to slow down in a neighborhood. The driver then fired eight shots at the man and his dog, but remains at large.

A 50-year-old man was sitting on his porch with his dog around 7:25 AM. The Chicago resident was waiting for his car to warm up when a man in a red vehicle sped through his neighborhood in the 300 block of East 117th Street.

This apparently enraged the driver as he circled back around and fired a gun eight times at the man and his dog. Police officers recovered eight shell casings from the scene.

Emergency responders transported the man to a local hospital. He was struck in the abdomen and buttocks. The dog was shot in the shoulder. However, both are currently in good condition…
