RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The owner of a local business called on Gov. Tate Reeves (R-Miss.) to declare a State of Emergency over ongoing delivery delays at the Mississippi Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) warehouse.
Most liquor stores in the state are dealing with empty shelves and delayed deliveries.
“It has been tough to get packages in. And as you can see here, and this would typically be full of my box-wines and my big format ones right here,” said Josh Sorrell, the owner of Spillway Wine and Spirits in Rankin County.
