Third arrest made in Lafayette drug deal shooting in which victim was left in driveway

A third suspect has been arrested in the case of a man who was found shot to death in a driveway, according to the Lafayette Police Department. Ronnie Thomas, 23, of Lafayette, is charged with second-degree murder and attempted armed robbery. His bond is set at $400,000. The victim was identified as Clarence Hypolite, 23, of Lafayette. Xzavier Dyson, 27, and Martina Mouton, 21, were previously arrested on first-degree murder charges. Authorities noted the suspects were caught in Jennings and booked into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail.
