Charged files against Springfield man accused in stabbing

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A man accused of stabbing a woman in northwest Springfield on Wednesday, Feb. 25, has been charged with domestic assault.

Quentin Gorden, 37, is charged with three counts of first-degree domestic assault with serious physical injury, four counts of armed criminal action and one count of unlawful use of a weapon, according to online court records.

The probable cause statement says that a juvenile witness called 911 and said someone related to her was stabbed in the neck and referenced a suspect also of familial relation, Quentin Gorden, in the 3900 block of W. Groton Street.
