No refill, no chill: Springfield police say woman bucket-smashed gas station door

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A late-night thirst and a closed door reportedly turned into a not-so-refreshing encounter at a Springfield gas station, where police say a woman cracked a glass entrance after she couldn’t get in to refill her drink.

Springfield woman Ashley M. Melton-Shuler, born in 1990, is charged with felony first-degree property damage.
