MERIDIAN, Idaho — Two men were arrested Thursday afternoon after Meridian Police Department (MPD) said a drug delivery led to a vehicle pursuit and foot chase that ended near Eagle Road and Magic View Drive.
Around 2:30 p.m. Feb. 26, members of the Meridian Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team were in the area of Linder Road and Cherry Lane when they saw a man remove property from an unoccupied vehicle and drive off in another car.
MPD said that when officer tried to stop the vehicle, the driver sped off, reaching dangerous speeds and nearly causing several crashes. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle near Pine Avenue and Webb Street using a “precision immobilization technique,” or PIT maneuver, but the driver continued before the car eventually stopped near Eagle and Magic View…
