Construction tool burglary ‘Crime of the Week’

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Sioux Falls Police are trying to identify the suspect of a job site burglary.

Minnesota Avenue construction will soon impact traffic

SFPD says the burglary happened around 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 22 at a job site near East 57th St. and South Powder House Road, also known as Veterans Parkway. Investigation found that an unknown suspect entered the construction trailer by smashing a window.

Once inside, the suspect stole numerous construction tools. The value of the damage done to the trailer and stolen property is $21,000.
