Officials in Upper Dublin Township have formally adopted a new policy outlining how snow and ice removal may be handled on certain smaller roads that are not officially owned or maintained by the Township.
Earlier this month, Township leaders announced the adoption of a policy addressing snow and ice control operations on undedicated roads. While these roads do not fall under normal municipal maintenance, the policy explains the limited situations in which temporary service may be provided during significant winter storms in the interest of public safety.
