TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The days are warming up and some Western New York municipalities have started to lift their overnight parking bans.
Both the Town of Tonawanda and the Village of Kenmore announced Saturday that their overnight parking bans will be lifted effective Feb. 28.
“Due to a favorable long-term weather forecast, the Town of Tonawanda Town Board has announced the Overnight Parking Ban in the town will be lifted as of Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. In the event of significant snow accumulation, residents and visitors are asked to make every effort to park their vehicles off street to allow Town Highway Department plows to effectively plow and clear town streets,” a town spokesperson said in a statement posted to social media…
