Two people detained in police pursuit in Henderson

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Two people have been detained in Henderson following a vehicle pursuit.

According to the Henderson Police Department, Hopkins County police were in pursuit of a vehicle on I-69 near the Audubon exit Northbound and ended up in Henderson County. HPD says the vehicle attempted to do a u turn and head South in Northbound traffic when they wrecked in a ditch.

HPD says all the occupants of the vehicle have been detained and are being transported back to Hopkins County. The identities of the occupants have not been released, and charges are still pending.
