A missing Florida man was found alive Wednesday after after being stuck in mud at a sand plant for several days without food or water, officials said.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said 36-year-old Andrew Giddens of Jacksonville was officially reported missing after his vehicle was found abandoned near the intersection of Paran Church Road and State Road 100 in Melrose, about 15 miles east of Gainesville, on Feb. 23.
When deputies contacted his family, they learned Giddens had last spoken to his father back on Feb. 14. Family and friends told deputies that Giddens was upset due to a recent breakup…
