A Gwinnett County resident and small business owner is changing his focus for the 2026 Georgia primary elections and opting to run for a State House seat, instead of a Senate post.
Jyot Singh will formally announce on Sunday that he will shift his focus to the Democratic candidacy with the Georgia State House District 97 seat, currently held by Ruwa Romman. She recently announced that she is leaving a race for Georgia Governor to run for the State Senate District 7 seat in the May 19 Primary Elections.
