No charges filed after Lexington police respond to shots-fired call

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officers with the Lexington Police Department (LPD) were gathered early Friday morning following reports of gunfire on the east side of town.

Authorities said just before 3 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, officers were sent to the area of Wilderness Road in response to shots fired.

Investigators told FOX 56 News that when officers arrived, the man who’d allegedly fired the shots went into his residence, and officers tried to call him out.

No injuries or criminal charges have been reported. The investigation remains ongoing…
