Mobile DA blasts judge presiding over murder case after Not Guilty verdict

MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood penned a scathing public indictment of a judge Thursday night, accusing him in a social media post of mishandling a murder trial that resulted in a not guilty verdict. Blackwood accused Judge Michael Windom of suppressing key “lawful” evidence in the case. LaQuonte McCants, Darrin Miller and Darrion Johnson were accused of murdering 62-year-old Martha McGinsey in a 2020 retaliation shooting on Roderick Road in Mobile.
