NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police recovered stolen weapons and arrested a man who had been on felony diversion in connection with a deadly 2019 shooting.
Detectives stopped a Dodge Challenger on 39th Avenue North Thursday night for dark window tint — including over the windshield — and a tinted plate over the license plate. The driver, 22-year-old Rico Ransom, and the passenger, 19-year-old Ladarrion Cain, were found to be in possession of stolen handguns.
Additionally, police said Ransom was found in possession of about an ounce of marijuana, more than $3,000 in cash and a digital scale. Ransom was charged with firearm theft, gun possession during the commission of a felony and felony marijuana possession. As of publication, he’s free on an $8,500 bond…
