Syracuse, N.Y. — After a 12-year hiatus, Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade attendees will again be treated to the sight of a massive helium balloon being wrangled down Salina Street by Syracuse newspaper staff.
The 44th parade, which kicks off at noon on Saturday, March 14, will feature marchers from dozens of local businesses and community groups, including the employees of syracuse.com | The Post-Standard, who will guide a 25-foot-high inflatable pot of gold along the route.
