Police Arrest 14 and 19-Year-Olds In Connection with Shooting of 14-Year-Old Boy

Two teens were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a shooting that left a 14 year-old boy riddled with bullets, Long Beach police said Friday.

Officers were dispatched about 12:50 p..m. Sunday to the 5300 block of Elm Avenue, where they found the 14-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

“Officers rendered lifesaving medical aid, including administering chest seals and a tourniquet,” according to an LBPD statement. “The boy was transported to the hospital in critical condition and is now in stable condition.”…
