Juvenile suspect arrested in connection with active shooter incident in vehicle

FORT WORTH, Texas — A juvenile suspect has been arrested following an active shooter incident in a vehicle that occurred on January 16, 2026, according to a press release from the Fort Worth Police Department.

On that Friday night at approximately 11:05 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 400 block of Martinique Avenue regarding a disturbance involving an active shooter in a vehicle. An unknown suspect had fired several rounds into a residence occupied by six victims. The Gang Unit took the investigative lead in the case.
