OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Neighbors near 192nd and Blondo streets say traffic backups and crashes are routine at the west Omaha intersection. The city and the Nebraska Department of Transportation are now moving to study the corridor for improvements, but officials say any projects are still years away.
Resident cites traffic in move
Josh Obertance lived in a home just behind Blondo Street for 13 years. He said traffic at the nearby intersection played a role in his decision to move.
“All hours of the night, night, day, there’s constant traffic up and down. It doesn’t matter the hours. It’s loud. It can be obnoxious,” Obertance said.
