Several small nonprofits across Illinois have been awarded grant money to help strengthen housing and workforce programs.
Nearly $200,000 Targeted to Illinois Housing and Job Training Programs
During a news conference held in Rockford, Treasurer Michael Frerichs announced that nearly $200,000 in Charitable Trust grants will be awarded to 10 small nonprofits serving communities across Illinois.
According to the press release, the funding will support housing stability, rental assistance, and workforce development initiatives, as many Illinois families continue to struggle with rising costs.
