SAN ANTONIO — A female inmate died after being attacked by her cellmate at the Bexar County Jail, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said on Saturday.
A deputy who was conducting routine checks was approached by a female inmate about the incident. The deputy saw the victim “lying in a pool of blood” and life saving measures were administered, Sheriff Salazar said.
