BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A Baton Rouge woman says a local contractor accepted insurance funds to repair her fire-damaged home but left the job unfinished after 18 months.
Nicole Ross said she arrived home in 2023 to find her house on fire. Her son sustained serious injuries in the blaze while attempting to put out the flames.
“When I pulled up, I saw the house,” Ross said. “I saw my son, and he had third-degree burns.”…
