Sales tax revenue figures released last month by the Texas Comptroller’s office show a mixed economic picture across the Coastal Bend region, with some communities posting strong gains while others experienced noticeable declines.
The latest report reflects monthly allocations based on local sales tax collections and compares them to the same period last year, as well as year-to-date totals.
