Colorado Man Sentenced After Assaulting Teen at Restaurant

These days, it’s nearly impossible to commit a crime against another person without it being caught on camera. This was the case at a Colorado fast food restaurant where an adult man was filmed assaulting a teenager, a crime that he has pleaded guilty to.

What Happened at the Colorado Restaurant?

On August 4, 2024, a small group of teenagers were, according to the 15-year-old victim, messing around and splashing water on each other at In-N-Out Burger in Loveland, with some of the water being accidentally splashed onto a woman.

According to the victim, it was at this point that he approached the woman to apologize, but instead of accepting his apology, the man who was sitting with the woman, identified as Lucas Kalisher, instead grabbed the teen around his neck, pulled him to the table at which he and the woman were sitting, and threw him to the ground.

The incident was caught on camera and quickly went viral.

What’s Going to Happen to the Colorado Man Who Assaulted the Teen?

On Monday, February 23, 2026, Kalisher pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree assault and was sentenced to 30 months of probation.

The terms of his probation mandate that Kalisher must complete an anger management evaluation, must complete any other recommended that have yet to be specified, must give the victim a formal apology, must complete 120 hours of community service, and must pay restitution to the victim…
