NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – Construction is underway on a new North Augusta YMCA, but the project’s future hinges on a final multi-million dollar fundraising push.
Crews are currently building the foundation for the new facility off East Martintown Road. However, officials with the Family YMCA of Greater Augusta say the project’s completion depends on reaching a $2.6 million fundraising goal.
As of now, the organization has raised about 70% of that target…
