During an urgently scheduled Feb. 6 noon meeting between the Fresno Arts Council and Fresno City Manager Georgeanne White, Lilia Gonzáles Chávez, executive director of the Arts Council, told White herself that at least $1.5 million had been embezzled by a now-former Fresno Arts Council employee.
